Why the online multiplication table course
I designed this 30 minutes a week online multiplication table course, as it is important that children learn multiplication tables in year 2, 3, 4 and some continue to year 5 and 6. Furthermore, children that know the multiplication tables up to 12 times table can understand and apply maths concepts better than those who do not. It is fair to say that the majority of KS2, stage 2 maths curriculum is based around learning multiplication tables and division. It is important that children can understand the multiplication tables as well as just reciting them. Children should know the majority of the multiplication tables by year 4 as this will help them to quickly gather the maths steps they need in order to answer more complicated maths questions.
